Echo Town
Echo Town
UK South West based band Echo Town consists of free spirited brothers Richard and Robert Harrison. They are recognised for their vibrant and energetic performances, contemporary freedom songs and use of multi instruments such as lap-slide guitar, djembe, didgeridoo and harmonica. Originally playing music of the heavy rock genre in their earlier years, the Leeds born duo moved on to develop a more harmonious and spiritual approach to music in the past five years as they creatively matured and grew into the upbeat band we know them as today. They relocated to Cornwall in early 2015 after completing a mini tour late summer 2014. After they received an overwhelmingly positive response from the South West music scene they opted for the vibrant and contrasting lifestyle change of the South which had always appealed to them. They quickly gained attention from booking agents and radio shows as well as the diverse festival scene. Cider and Ale Fest
The Watering Hole are very excited to announce the dates for our first ever Cider and Ale Fest. This is a FREE EVENT which will carry out over the whole of the third weekend in February. There will be three extra bars accompanying our main bar bringing you the finest ciders and ales from across the globe. Live music is to be expected over the Friday and Saturday from 5pm onwards. Roast dinners will be served as usual on the Sunday.

Laid Blak- Cancelled due to their van breaking down
The Laid Blak sound takes massive inspiration from ska and reggae, but has often been described as ‘street soul’. The influences are broad and represent sounds that define the eclectic nature of Bristol music, from reggae, to dancehall, soul, hip hop, funk and jazz, whilst of course never forgetting their jungle heritage. It’s all in the blend and the results is a fun filled sunshine dance music that keeps your feet moving and your face smiling. They have supported many heavyweights from the world of reggae and beyond like Toots and Maytals, Damian Marley, Congo Natty, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Gentleman’s Dub Club and John Legend. They also performed alongside Tricky in Paris and supported The Wailers on their recent UK tour dates as well as The Easy Allstars and Lee Scratch Perry.
